PROGRAMS
After school Tutoring:
After school assistance for youth, three times a week from 3:30pm-5:00pm. This academic involvement is required of all participants. This will take place throughout the school calendar year.
Trade Programs:
Partnering with various organizations to provide youth with the chance to learn trades and skills to further vocational opportunities. Time frame for this program will be determined.
Sports Clinics:
Engaging participants through sports such as golf, flag football, basketball, rowing, rugby and lacrosse. This will build strong leadership, communication and group skills for the young men.
College Readiness:
Students within 9th through 11th grade will participate in the college readiness components that focuses on test preparation, college tours and learning how to begin planning for your education beyond high school. This will be a combination of programming and quarterly events.
Fathers Matter:
This program focuses on the importance of fathers being engaged in the lives of their children. It will consist of quarterly events that engage and develop strong team building between fathers and sons.
Family Orientation will kick off each February with a Fathers Matter Fun Day full of tournaments, sponsors and food. We will encourage fathers to attend three additional events throughout the year including bi-monthly workshops that will address topics of personal development and family empowerment.
Young Entrepreneurship Program:
We invest in young scholars through the process of designing, launching and running their new business ventures. Starting with an idea and making it a reality through our business start up mentoring program.
